Tristan loves a challenge. His store, Tristan Cross, specializes in premium Italian leather handbags.
While he’s not a self-proclaimed fashion guru, he’s a brilliant entrepreneur. He knows which products to pick and how to promote them.
While excelling in business, he lacks in portraying luxury branding on his website. His original template was black and white and reminded an online catalog.
Featured products didn’t show the best designs on a homepage and Add to Cart and Newsletter button were in deep green shade.
The header wasn’t responsive and it was covering the logo on the mobile devices. To improve his website, Tristan got in touch with Ecommerce Experts at Rock Paper Copy.
Design & Branding
We started the project by changing the color palette from black to gold. The top navigation, buttons and social media icons, had been designed to match the golden scheme.
We created top banner and featured Tristan’s bestselling clutch bag, adding strong CTA [call to action].
Featured products received make over and stronger impact, encouraging people to click further.
Top and bottom navigation were simplified to build Tristan’s premium, yet intriguing branding. Product page was also improved by amending related products' display. The header was optimized to be 100% responsive on all devices.
SEO & Content
Tristan had lovely About us page, yet as it wasn’t correctly optimized - we have expanded it to 500 words, added defined H tags and internal links to enhance SEO.
We re-written meta title and description to emphasize Tristan’s premium branding and improve his presence in search results.
Contact us page has also been tweaked and we hyperlinked an email address for a 1-click-contact. We have optimized all written content using Bausch-Kincaid readability tool and a word cloud.
Tristan became a regular customer after the project by signing up for our marketing package and website maintenance [Shop-a-Fix].
